Sarah Spier

Sarah is from Eastern Nebraska was fortunate to grow up with the Elkhorn River right in her backyard giving her the opportunity to explore wildlife from an early age. Sarah joined the lab in 2013 to work on her senior thesis focused on how urbanization alters predator-prey dynamics through changes in the landscape of fear. Sarah earned her degree in 2015 and went on to work on several projects as technician. In 2016, Sarah started a Master's program with Dr. Joe Dauer at the University of Nebraska and is now a Biology Instructor at Southeast Community College in Lincoln.
