Ryan Stuztman

MS - Wildlife Ecology (2010-12)(Thesis)

Born and raised in Great Falls, Montana, Ryan graduated from the University of Montana in 2008 before going to work for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. After some time in the field, Ryan joined the lab in Spring of 2010 to work on questions relating to shorebird migration through the Prairie Pothole Region. After successfully negotiating the rigors and challenges of working in the mud, in 2012 Ryan successfully defended his thesis and moved on as a private lands biologist for the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife. In 2018, Ryan moved back home to Montana where he started his own consulting firm, and begun working as a Conservation Easement Manager with Five Valleys Land Trust.
