I will try and put up a start list by Friday.

Lap count:

M/W14 may run 1 or 2 laps if they wish.

SI timing - bring your SI card if you have one, and let me know before Saturday if you need to borrow one.

The course is in fairly good condition but you'll definitely need orienteering shoes.

If you have an Irish JHI top please wear it as Finn van Gelderen will be taking photoes at the Trial.

Ballinastoe

We will be based at the west side of the map, on the road towards Sally Gap from Roundwood GR O 17 07.

Training will be ground-to-map interpretation, and mostly not very energetic, so you will need warm clothes. You will also need at least one red pen. And please if you have any bring your own A4 plastic bag(s) for the maps

Bull Island

We will spend a short time before the event practising on sand dunes & getting used to the scale and contour interval. If you have run on Bull Island before bring along your map(s). Please let me know before the weekend what course you will run in the event.

Accommodation

Knockree hostel near Enniskerry - go up the Glencree Road, continue approx. 3 miles. Turn left at Hostel sign, continue, and then take next sharp right turn at Hostel sign. Continue for approx 1 mile until you find our hostel on right-hand side. Beds & bedding are provided.

Transport

Please let me know how & when you will arrive in Dublin, whether you need a lift to Phoenix Park, and how & when you will leave on Sunday. There should be lifts available for all from Phoenix Park for the rest of the weekend.

Food

Dinner on Saturday, and breakfast & lunch on Sunday will be provided (cereal, toast, sandwich materials). Bring your own lunch for Saturday, and any extra snacks/drinks you may need. Juniors will be responsible for making their own lunches on Sunday.
