O-Ringen Junior Training Camp 14-17 July

O-Ringen are running an International Junior (age 17-22) Training Camp for 3 days during the week before O-Ringen, Wed 14 - Sat 17 July, in Eksjo, Sweden.

Cost is about €200 for everything, about €90 for just training (organise your own accommodation & food).

The invitation says:

Juniors and young seniors from the whole world who want to learn to orienteer in Scandinavian terrain have a golden opportunity to do so for a few days before the start of O-Ringen. A training camp will be organised in the week before O-Ringen at which a variety of training exercises will be available with shadowing, plus the chance to analyse routes and orienteering technique, and a lecture on an orienteering topic. Participants do not have to be elite-focused as all juniors are welcome regardless of their skill level.

Czech Silva O Camp 23-31 Aug

The Silva O'Camp is an annual training camp for juniors up to 18, and includes plenty of other activities. This is the message from the organisers:

SILVA O’Camp 2009 will be held from 23 to 31. August 2009 - again in Vidnava. As usually we kindly invite our foreigner friends from all over the world !

On the new website www.silvacamp.eu we prepare for you for more information. But now we can say that the program will again be training in orienteering, hiking trips, sports games and cultural events. Price of the camp is set at EUR 170 (same as last year) and includes accommodation, meals, upgrade maps and T-shirts with a motif of the camp.
