The first planning meeting for the Handley High School Class of 1959 50th Anniversary Reunion met on the 23rd of August 2008 at the home of David & Jane McConnell. Pictures taken at the meeting are posted below.

Richard: "Doris, you had some nerve bringing a school rival here. Weren't our Handley guys good enough?
Doris: "Richard, let me think about that for a little while. I'll get back to you after I've given it a little more thought."

Grady: "Carolyn, I don't recognize any of these people. Everyone looks too old for this to be my class year. I must be in the wrong meeting."

Richard: "Carolyn, you may be vice-president, but I'm president. So there!!! I'll decide whether we play spin the bottle or pin the tail on the donkey."
David & Jane
David: "Jane, I don't know why you couldn't find my picture in the yearbook, I look exactly the same now as I did then."

Ann: "Clayton, you are so wise.
Clayton: "Ann, it just comes naturally."
Richard & Marsha
Richard: "Yes, we've been married for 46 years, and it all started on prom night when my best friend David took my woman to the prom. But why did she have to go with a nerd?"
Doris & Eddy
Doris: "Yep, my guy came from Pascal High. All of the Handley guys were either too dumb or too ugly."
Marsha & Carolyn
Marsha: "Just because we're outsiders doesn't mean we can't have lunch with you, does it?"
Jamey & Linda
Jamey: "Jerry, Linda says that seat's saved and that I should stay where I am. Saved for who? I mean for whom? Sorry, Miss Odell. It was just a momentary lapse."
Ann, Carolyn & Carolyn
Ann: "Suddenly, I can't think of anything to say."
Carolyn: "Ann, has that ever happened before?"

Jane Mc: "That was so funny. I just can't stop laughing."
Jane B: "I don't see anything funny about that."
Clayton & Jerry
Jerry: "When is this meeting going to get rolling? I'm an action guy. Let's get with the action. Who's in charge?"
Doris & Linda
Doris: "I wouldn't have come if I'd known all we were getting was pizza."
Linda: "Me either, but maybe they'll have cheesecake for dessert. That would be ok."
Carolyn
Carolyn: "Dessert? I've not finished my 5th piece of pizza yet."

Richard: "Let's break the ice by playing pin the tail on the donkey. Is everyone agreed? OK, Linda you go first. David, you can be the donkey."
Ann, Jamey & Carolyn
Jamey: "Yep, when I played football everyone feared me. Well, except Linda. To tell the truth, she scares me now."

David: "Richard, get lost, I saw her first!"
Richard: "Ann, quit that; it tickles!"

Ann: "Well, I've decided. I'll take this one."
