The planning committee decided that it was time to concentrate upon the classmates for whom we have contact information rather than continuing to search for classmates whose contact information has continued to elude us.  We hope that those who are missing will somehow be located before the reunion through our newspaper outreach efforts.  However, as time is quickly drawing near, the committee decided that following up with those classmates for which we presently have contact information, but who have not yet registered, would make for the best used of our available time.

6.  This and That

Having a 50th anniversary reunion requires lots of organization and planning to make it occur in a way that all of our classmates and guests will be pleased with the results.

Sheriff Clark:  "And so you just sort of threw everything together?...Deputy McConnell, a posse is something that you have to organize.  It's like planning a reunion."

Coping with David's Crazy Ideas

David sometimes gets so caught up with techniques learned during his working life that he can't avoid trying them on the reunion planning committee, much to their surprise and glee.

David:  "Before we begin the meeting, I'd like everyone to relax by crowing like a rooster.  Clayton, you start off..."

 Reunion Planning & Preparations

Kaye Trisler & Ann Weiss having a pre-planning meeting.  No wonder they seem always to have it all together!
