Our 56th Anniversary Reunion Page

Well, classmates, it has been nearly 6 years since we've "reunioned"--even longer for those of us who were unable to make the 2009 reunion.  If you have any thoughts that you'd like to share with your classmates, I've enabled the comments section below for that purpose.  So feel free to add your thoughts.

Some of you may remember our mathematics teacher Melvin Avery (first picture below).  I suppose that I was greatly influenced by him.  I went on to study mathematics at the college and graduate levels.  You may even be able to see in the picture below other ways he may have been an influence.  Isn't it amazing how influential others are in our lives.

From all outward appearances my granddaughter, under the obvious influence of Melvin Avery, is likewise destined to become a mathematician.  "Well, I suppose mathematicians have historically been an odd lot," you are no doubt thinking.  Odd lot?  Odd lot, you say.  I haven't the faintest idea as to what you are talking about.

When (and if) I am able to collect any actual content matching the subject matter of this page I'll readily replace the above "filler" when that happens.  There you have it--some incentive to send me something about yourself to share with your classmates.

The following pictures were made at the reunion:
