Betsy Sheena Cherian

Betsy has a very complicated simplicity about her. This is evident in whatever she does. The care that she takes in human relations, the care she takes in phrasing each and every sentence that she utters, the care that she takes in penning every paragraph of her technical writing and also the fabulous power points that she weaves. She absorbs positive energy like a sponge and negative energy is a gentle breeze that doesn’t disturb her. She is ruthlessly frank, it takes some time to accept that, but once you do, you are a permanent member of the Betsy Fan Club.Betsy did her MSc Computer Science from University of Calicut and for a short while worked with the Kerala University Computer Centre as Computer programmer before she chose to join the CBI MPhil. She also worked for a brief while with SooryaKiran Bioinformatics. Joji came into her life in 2008 and her life was made even richer in 2009 by the arrival of her sweet Baby Esther. Her research work had to be slowed down in 2007and 08 but Betsy is back in full steam at CBI. She hails from Thiruvalla. (Compiled by Achu)
