The Department of Computational Biology and Bioinformatics, established in 2005 as a Centre for Bioinformatics runs three unique programs - MPhil. Bioinformatics, MPhil. CADD and Msc. Computational Biology. In addition, we are actively into research with a PhD programme having a dozen students at the moment. Highlights of some of our recent activities are as follows:

• • Funding from MHRD(Gol), DST(GoI), DIT(GoI), KSCSTE and Govt. of Kerala.
