The Centre for Bioinformatics accepts a limited number of students from other educational institutions for doing projects (MSc Bioinformatics, MPhil Bioinformatics,  BTech/MTech Bioinformatics and also MSc Computer Science/MCA).  Emails should be sent only to projects.cbi(at)gmail(dot)com. Mails sent to individual faculty members shall not be responded to. Only candidates whose interests and skill sets overlap with that of faculty or research students shall be accepted for projects. To maintain quality, from mid-2009 onwards, the number of seats have been severely restricted. Also applicants are required to apply well in advance and if accepted, are required to establish e-contact with supervisors and start preparatory work before commencing the project. A fees of Rs 2000/- per month/student  is applicable (likely to be enhanced this year).
