MSc. A Batch [2008 - 2010]

Now that I am working in Yale Cancer Center, I can say that the journey to here was never a piece of cake. There has been a lot of failures, passion, commitment, hard work and patience involved which were not originally my cup of tea. Then how did I manage this?? Well I can say it was CBi, now DCB and the luminary Achu Sir, who played an important role in it. My two years of Master’s program in DCB not just gave me a foundation in computational biology and bioinformatics but also have inculcated some new characteristic features, which helped me to evolve the way I am now. The whole environment In DCB is very different from the usual departments, so initially it might feel weird and hostile, but there is more to it than meets the eye. This is one of the few places I know where you can really get a sense of direction and now when I look back the journey all I can say is, “that was quite an awesome ride”. If I get another chance to go back in time, I would definitely choose DCB and the MSc-A-Batch again.
