Cinderella Cake

I made this Cinderella cake for my daughter, Katie Scarlett's 4th birthday. 

To bake the cake, I used the Wilton Wonder Mold Kit

 cake pan and a Blonde Doll Pick. It takes 1 box of cake mix.

I made a cake board with 2 layers of Wilton 8-Inch Cake Circles

 covered in white contact paper. 

I used buttercream icing and Wilton Tip #104

 to make the pale blue and white ruffles. I used Wilton light blue icing color. I purchased ready-made Wilton white rolled fondant

 to make the bodice of her dress. I simply needed the fondant with a tiny bit of the blue icing color so it would match. 

My little Katie Scarlett grew up to write and illustrate this darling children's book when she was 8 years old, "Princess katie and the Fairy Tea Party". Most little girls would love it! It is available on amazon.
