New API

INTViewer 5.1 brings a new set of functionalities that have been made available through the API:

• an API to plug your own trend calculators
• an API to plug your own log curve processor
• an API to display horizon and pointset histograms
• A class (com.interactive.intviewerapi.layers.AbstractXSectionReferenceLayer) to extend when creating your own XSection layer
• Two classes (com.interactive.intviewerapi.layers.AbstractMapLayer and AbstractProjectableMapLayer) to extend when creating your own Map layer

NetBeans 7.3.1

INTViewer 5.1 is based upon NetBeans 7.3.1, just like INTViewer 5.0.

This is the last release of INTViewer that is compiled with Java 6.

The next version of INTViewer will be compiled with Java 7 and won't launch if Java 6 is used.

Incompatibilities with 5.0

A set of API incompatibilities have been introduced as part of this release.
