Instructions on how to use Rocketbook for when students are at home.

Resources for ROCKETBOOK

What's Needed:

(1) Smartphone or iPad App - Rocketbook App

(2) Rocketbook Handout with Icons at the bottom and a black frame around the page.

(3) Templates Available to you for Free.

SUGGESTIONS:

Parents download the Rocketbook App onto a phone or iPad.

.

Students or Parents can use a phone or iPad to capture their work with Rocketbook App.

Teacher:

(1)Creates a RETURN folder for each class in Google Drive.

(2) Send class the TinyUrl for that folder so that students can place that link in their Rocketbook App. I math teacher may wish to use the Star. The English Teacher may wish to use a different icon. Coordinate this with each other and let students know.

(3) Sends home Rocketbook paperwork using Homework packets. You can either cut out the Rocketbook Icons and tape them across the bottom of any page before Xeroxing copies OR you can download a template from the Rocketbook Folder and send home with questions or even math problems either typed, written or taped to the inside of the Rocketbook Framed page and then Xeroxed for students. Make a place for Name, Date, Teacher, and Assignment Name before making copies. Write the tiny URL on the page so that parents can place it into the App for the appropriate Icon.

OLDER STUDENTS: Can use the method of Printing their name at the top of each page using this method: ## Print Name ## at the top of each page.

Teachers can grade from your Google Folder OR from Google Classroom. I recommend that you have students write Name_UNIT_Assign - EXAMPLE: ##SMITHJ_4_2## for John Smith Unit 4 Assignment 2.
