MAC Book Care

• Use only the district approved App store Username & Password

• Only load Free Apps

• Do NOT allow your children to "play" on the device. This is being checked out to you as a teacher instructional tool.

• Do NOT put a passcode on the laptop unless you email your device name and code to tech_tech@arpisd.org

• Do NOT carry unless you use the provided protective bag provided by the district

  • Do NOT put power supply or surge protector in the pocket of the carrying case to cause a pressure point that might break the screen.

• PLEASE be extra careful with the device especially if it does not have a protective cover.

• Do NOT expose to extreme temperatures (do not leave it in a car)

• Do NOT set on an unstable surface

• Only plug it into a surge protector...not a wall socket. If you do not have one, we will provide you with one for home use.

• Do NOT put undue stress on the power cable or leave where a pet can chew through the cable.

• You will be required to return the device at the end of the school year. If you need to re-check it out for the summer, turn it in early for updates and maintenance.

• If damage occurs, turn in the device immediately. Do NOT wait.

• Notify us immediately if the device is missing or stolen. We can find it before it leaves the district.
