Play this game with a partner and dice to improve your addition skills.
You will need: 5x 1-6 die, something to write on.
Each person rolls a dice, the highest number starts the game.
You need 5 die 1-6. Begin your turn by picking up and rolling the five die.
Check your die, do any of them have the numbers 2 or 5? If they have 2 or 5 - they are "stuck in the mud" and you must add the remainder of the die up.
Die that have been placed in the mud pit remain there until the end of your turn and may not be used.
Any die that are not in the mud pit can be rolled. Check again for 2 or 5. These will also go to the mudpit and continue to add any that are not 2 or 5 and add to your total.
When all the die have been rolled, swap for your partner to have a turn.
The person with the highest score at the end of 3 rounds is the winner.
