Short description:
Producers of the PEDro database describe their newly created DiTA database of primary DTA studies of and systematic review publications relevant to physiotherapy practice. Using systematic review methods to identify and assess relevant studies, DiTA is populated by records identified via MEDLINE, Embase, CINAHL. No language or year of publication limits were used in searching or screening of studies. At the time of publication, DiTA contained 1,419 records and as of October 2022 has grown to 2,386 records.
Limitations stated by the author(s):
Authors reported after initial search strategies with high sensitivity proved unfeasible to project timelines, they opted for a less sensitive search, thus acknowledging the likelihood of missed studies.
