Rhoshawda Miller

Rhoshawda Miller is an English Learner (EL) teacher for Ypsilanti Community schools at Perry Early Learning Center and Erickson Elementary school. She has worked within the Ypsilanti Community Schools system for the past 19 years. Rhoshawda has a BS in Elementary Education, a MA in Early Childhood Education and a MA in Teaching English as a Second Language (TESOL), all from Eastern Michigan University.

Rhoshawda loves having the opportunity to teach English and learn about different cultures. She has been able to create bonds with her students. She learns from her students, and the students learn from her. She loves interacting with them and helping them understand the content of the coursework. It's gratifying to her when her students see the connection between what they are learning and their lives.
