Dan (Goodman) Akouri is an English Learner (EL) teacher at Ypsilanti Community High School. He has been a teacher since the 2019-20 school year. Dan has a B.A. in Spanish Secondary Education and a Minor in English Language Arts Secondary Education from Western Michigan University. He has also obtained his Master's in TESOL from Western Michigan University.

Dan loves the Ypsilanti community and enjoys working with the community's students and families. He has a passion for supporting students and helping them develop their growth as both an English speaker and as a student.
