Mary Anne Jaeger

Mary Anne is an Instructional EL Coach at Estabrook Elementary School. She began in 2014 after retiring from the Ann Arbor Public Schools as a past classroom, Spanish and EL teacher and school principal. Her Masters in TESOL, which she received from Eastern Michigan University, has supported her in being a more effective educator. The bilingual students in our district are truly a gift, and Estabrook and YCS as a whole are blessed to have a diverse language environment.

Mary Anne is thrilled that both of her daughters, Melissa and Kristina, are teachers. Her husband Eric is pretty used to having many family conversations all about the exciting field of education! Mary Anne loves spending time with her adorable granddaughter and swimmer girl, Ella May. Her Savannah cat, Mr. Obi Wan, also adds to the family fun, by jumping his 25 pound body over their heads as he runs through their home!
