Purpose:
To create a simple animal stencil to use as a “silhouette” for your photographs.
To notice and photograph a variety of textures in your surroundings;
To use “real” texture as the main subject in your photographs;
To pay close attention to color and contrast.
I took a couple pictures with the bark surrounding the silhouette as well as this one, but I thought that the silhouette being the only place where you could see the bark made it look cooler.
This was really colorful and the texture was different on the outside of the silhouette so I really liked the way the included background looked.
The texture that the blanket makes is pretty cool and especially when it folds over on itself and creates different colors.
