Close Ups

Purpose:

To push your creative thinking,
To practice photographing on a regular basis,

To continue to learn how your camera/mobile device works and interacts with varying light/subject/situations.

To get in close to the subject so that it abstracts it.

Sunlit Pine Tree

I took this picture on my mom's camera during the day and I thought that the simplified blurred background compared to the individual pines was really cool. The colors were also really cool because the sun made it have a super warm color scheme.

Ice Melting

I took this at around 3pm the day after the snowstorm and everything was starting to melt a bit, and the ice was making really cool shapes and I wanted to take a picture of it.

Grass & Snow

I also took this on my mom's camera. There were a couple different variations of this photo, some with the warm color scheme and then I took it from a different angle that blocked most sunlight so it had a cooler color scheme. The warm colors are my favorite, though, and I thought it had really cool composition.
