david hockney photomontage

Purpose:  Students will create a Photo Collage with multiple viewpoints of a subject into a single image, similar to David Hockney's "joiners."

This assignment was very different from anything ive ever done, and so I had to learn to see it differently to photograph then put the piece together. I also learned to overlap the photos to make what I wanted. It took me a while, playing around with the photos and it was kind of difficult. But eventually I got what I wanted it to look like. I have also learned how to take pictures with layering and overlapping so when I printed them out they overlapped.
