I think that the 2 most important concepts of art that I have learned this semester are Proportion and Perspective. These concepts are important because they are fundamental steps to the beginning of any piece of art and are required to create any art piece. In order to create the image that you want and put it onto paper, you need to be able to create proportional shapes no matter what kind of art you are making. Additionally, to be able to create a scene or any view in your art you need to be able to include perspective and that includes having proportion skills.
The assignment I am most proud of:
I am most proud of my Final Still Life Drawing because I feel that I learned the most from it and I believe I did pretty well compared to the pre-instructional drawing. I'm also proud of it because comparing my skills from the first drawing assignment we had to this is interesting because I can see how much I learned in that amount of time about shading, coloring, perspective, and proportion.
