Drawing in Space: Reed Sculpture

Purpose:

To understand how a line can be used to create a three-dimensional form

To create a sculpture that considers balance and repetition, variety and emphasis

To consider where artists find their inspiration.

I see variety in my sculpture where small pieces bridge between bigger pieces and there is emphasis in the empty space between the cluttered yet organized area of my sculpture.

Sculptures can be any size, color, material, and shape, and building a sculpture holds no bounds because it is a form of art and there are no boundaries for art.
