To understand how a line can be used to create a three-dimensional form
To create a sculpture that considers balance and repetition, variety and emphasis
To consider where artists find their inspiration
FINAL:
My area of emphasis is where I added the piece of paper. I decided on doing the paper since it would be easier to see where the area of emphasis would be. Variety is shown in the different sized loops and you can see that easily if you look at the different loops. There's also a variety in shapes in my scuplture.
Some sculptures that look somewhat difficult to make can be easier to make than what you thought. With the reed sculptures, they didn’t look ridiculously hard to make but they looked somewhat hard to make when in reality they were easy to make. I learned that just because something looks hard to make, it doesn't necessarily mean that its hard to make.
