Greetings of Wellness!

On behalf of the library staff of XU Libraries, I welcome you all to the state of the art Xavier University Libraries. We are happy and excited to be part of your academic journey in the University through our Flexible Learning and help you reach your goals.

Xavier University Libraries is a venue that caters to the academic needs of the students, faculty, formators, staff, alumni, and administrators of Xavier Ateneo and even visiting researchers in terms of high-quality information resources and innovative conducive study spaces. It is a place of freedom and choice where you can communicate ideas, create social networks, and build meaningful collaborations and beautiful relationships.

Our facility is composed of different libraries and sections placed in two fully air-conditioned adjacent buildings - a five-storey library annex and a three-storey main library and Jose P. Rizal School of Medicine Building. Moreover, all library locations offer free wireless access (Wi-Fi) at all times during library hours.

Further, Xavier University Libraries exists to support the vision and mission of the institution. It upholds the University’s commitment to forming men and women of competence, conscience and commitment in service of the Church, the global community and the Filipino people.

As we continue to cope with the COVID-19 pandemic by keeping you safe, you cannot visit the library in person. Given this current situation, we may be physically apart but our library operations and services continue because learning knows no boundaries.

Yes, our buildings are temporarily closed for you during these trying times, but our Library is open. Our Virtual Reference Service, 24/7 access to electronic books and electronic journals from our subscribed online databases, American Corner virtual activities and other online resources and services are available for you.

With this, we request you to visit our Library Website via http://library.xu.edu.ph and Facebook Page and frequently open your student email for library updates to be e-blasted through our University Communications Office and check them out. You might just discover that even if we are being separated by the threats posed by the outbreak of the global health COVID-19 pandemic, the library personnel are always there for you.

Always remember, the University Libraries is always here for you no matter how tough the situation is and regardless of the changes and challenges of the educational landscape.

Let us continue to pray and beg for God’s mercy, grace and protection, most especially during this tumultuous time.
