Pale tendrils reach out of my wound and crawl across my face. Roots dig into my skin as they spread across my skull. They scramble upwards, desperate for sunlight. Cold, damp earth hugs me close, while worms burrow through my flesh. The only company I have, six feet under. for the rest of forever.
