MAKE-UP CREDIT OPTIONS

If you failed a class and need to recover the credit, here are your options. Note: Original credit options give a letter grade, make up receives a "P."

EDGENUITY

Edgenuity’s credit recovery courses are designed to help students learn at their own pace and on their own time, focusing on exactly the concepts and skills they need to. The flexibility of these courses empowers students to catch up to their peers, recover lost credits, and graduate on time. If a student passes the initial Prescriptive Test they are awarded the credit for that specific course. If they score below 60% than the course is automatically loaded with the concepts they did not pass on the Prescriptive Test. Each EdGenuity credit recovery course is $35. Students have 45 days to complete the coursework. Students should see their counselor if they are interested in the EdGenuity program for credit recovery.

WEBER ONLINE

Weber Online provides a free option for original credit. It generally takes between 6-8 weeks to complete .25 credit if doing original credit option. If you failed a class, you can pay a $35.00 fee to take a Weber Online class to recover the credit. Students have 30 days to complete the make-up credit option. Most of the core credits needed for a high school diploma are available with Weber Online. To enroll, you need to meet with your counselor who can register you in the class.

NORTHRIDGE LEARNING CENTER

Northridge Learning Center is a private organization to earn either original or recovery credits. The cost is $50.00 for .25 credit. This program provides curriculum packets that you can complete at home. A final test is also required. The credit is sent to Weber High to be recorded on your transcripts once completed.
