Work Study Release Form
Work study credits are given based on the number of hours a student works. Every 45 hours worked equals a .25 elective credit (a “P” will be issued, no letter grades). So, for a one semester (.50 credit) class that is dropped for work study, a student will need to work 90 hours during that time to earn the needed credit. If a student does not complete this requirement for work study, they are at risk of not graduating due to lack of credit. Work study does not count for athletic eligibility.

# of work hours needed: 1st semester_________ 2nd semester ____________
It is the responsibility of the student to turn in pay stubs to their counselor to verify work hours. No credit will be given if pay stubs are not turned in.
