One of the goals of the NRMN Coordination Center is to help the NRMN Phase II Research Collective as a whole realize its research potential. To achieve this goal, the Coordination Center is leveraging the power of aggregate data to move beyond each of the individual studies and display the full reach and impact of the Research Collective. The Coordination Center will facilitate continued research on the science of mentorship by identifying and compiling data across the collective which can be used in future studies.
The figure below depicts the five main project components that contribute to the NRMN Phase II Research Collective. Each U01 research project is responsible for managing their IRB protocol, measures, recruitment and enrollment, data collection, and study outcomes. The NRMN Coordination Center seeks to optimize the Research Collective by leveraging these areas to showcase the impact and reach of NRMN Phase II and opportunities for continued research.
