The best way to get on the NRMN CC listserv is by completing the onboarding survey. This will ensure that you receive future communications from the NRMN CC and are included in the NRMN Directory. Be prepared to share a short biography (including your role with NRMN) and upload a picture of yourself. You'll be asked to sign in to Google to take the survey. If you encounter difficulty, contact CoordinationCenter@NRMNet.net.
Please review the guidance on the NIH Contact & News subpage under the Communications tab.
Webinar recordings are housed in the Webinars subpage under the Communications tab.
The best way to get added to the NRMN internal webinar series calendar invites is by completing the onboarding survey. If you have already completed the onboarding survey and still are not seeing the series on your calendar, contact CoordinationCenter@NRMNet.net.
We’d love to hear it! You can suggest your working group idea as feedback in our quarterly continuous improvement surveys or by contacting CoordinationCenter@NRMNet.net.
NRMN Working Group documents can be found in the NRMN Phase 2 Working Groups Shared Drive. If you are unable to access this drive please contact CoordinationCenter@NRMNet.net.
The email archive is housed on the NRMN Phase 2 Google Site under the Communications tab.
We invite the entire NRMN Community to request access to the NRMN Measurement Library. We currently have it restricted because it includes copyrighted material.
In order to get around this issue, we have identified two options:
You can create a google account using your professional email address by following these instructions.
You can share a gmail or any other account that is connected to google with the Coordination Center. This will only be used for the purposes of giving you access to the Measurement Library and will not be posted or shared.
After you have completed either option 1 or 2, please alert CoordinationCenter@NRMNet.net to get access.
The language of ongoing and future research in the consent forms was suggested by the UW-Madison IRB office to ensure that all data could be shared and used without a problem. This language leaves the data use open so that the NRMN community, as well as your individual study, has all options available in the future.
There are no current plans to use the shared data in any sort of additional studies (beyond aggregate reporting on the hallmarks/required measures) either during or after the U01 research studies.
If there was any interest or proposal for using the shared data by the NRMN community, each U01 site would first have to give permission for the study to be run (e.g., validating a scale with the shared data across sites would qualify as “ongoing” research).
At NO TIME will your study’s data be used in any way, beyond the required aggregate reporting of hallmarks/required measures, without your permission. You will be informed of the request for using your data, including details of what specific data items are being requested and what will be analyzed, and then asked to approve or deny the request.
We will be establishing a very detailed process for any requests to use the shared data so that you will always be informed.
The 18 required measures (11 demographic, 4 background, and 3 career) will need to be asked by all sites . These are starred(*) on the measurement library pages as well as noted on the Required Measures page of the NRMN Measurement Library. These cannot be edited or adapted to ensure that these questions can be aligned across all groups.
We have removed this option from the measures posted in the NRMN Measurement Library for consistency. Please feel free to add this option into your own surveys. The NRMN CC will not be exploring this group in our analyses, and will recode the data so that "Prefer not to report" and "No response" are in one category.
