What: The Program Implementation Working Group provides a venue for Consortium sites to discuss topics regarding core areas of program implementation, dissemination, and sustainability. BUILD and NRMN programs can share program strengths, weaknesses, lessons learned, challenges, and develop collective best practices to inform current and future activities.
When: Monthly on the first Wednesday of the month at 12pm PT
Who: Representation from each of the DPC awardees and one representative from the NIH.
What: This Executive Steering Committee (ESC) subcommittee ensures compliance with the guidelines outlined in the Diversity Program Consortium Guidelines for Publications, Presentations and the Public Release of Consortium-Wide Data.

What: The DPC writing groups self-form to write manuscripts on consortium-wide topics.

Who: At least one person per site, preferably a Communications Specialist, should attend the monthly meetings. If the designated person is unable to attend, an alternative should attend.
What: The Communications Working Group focuses on supporting collaborative communications strategies across the DPC. The primary goal is to increase awareness of the DPC mission and achievements among the wider community. Each BUILD site, NRMN, NIH, and the CEC have their own communications plans, developed to suit their unique needs and site-level goals; however, the Communications WG serves as both a resource and a platform for amplifying the communications strategies and demonstrating the collaborative nature of the DPC.
When: Monthly on the second Tuesday of the month at 11am PT
Who: Representation across DPC sites (CEC, BUILD, and NRMN).
What: The Evaluation Implementation Working Group focuses on the ways in which both local and consortium-wide evaluations are done. This group reviews all aspects of the Consortium-Wide Evaluation Plan implementation, including proposed design modifications, guidance on identification of participants and activities, and selection of data collection tools. Methods of secure data transfer and processes for ensuring high data quality are also routinely discussed. Finally, the group provides a forum for sites as they address the common challenges that arise with data collection (e.g. student and faculty survey burden, timing with exams), and evaluation implementation, particularly within cooperative agreement structures.
