Institutional Common measures

Measures: This working group discusses the following Hallmark measures: INST-1 through INST-11.

Members include: Vineet Arora, Angela Byars-Winston, Nora Dominguez, Lourdes Guerrero, Sylvia Hurtado, Manoj Mishra, Elizabeth Ofili, Christine Pfund, Akshay Sood, and Rachel Wolfson. If you would like to join this working group, please email CoordinationCenter@NRMNet.net.

Update: This group met on April 21st, 2020. The goals of this meeting were to review instruments and scales being developed on campus climate as it relates to mentoring and inclusion. Two instruments were reviewed including 1) a departmental survey on diversity, equity, and inclusion and mentorship (Byars-Winston, Hurtado, and team) and 2) a mentoring climate survey (Sood, Tiggs, and team). Currently, the group is mapping the measures onto the DPC’s Hallmarks of Success. The group is considering using a summer webinar session in lieu of the NRMN annual meeting to share progress and gather feedback from the larger community.

NRMN COVID-19 Common Measures

Measures: In response to conversations about common measures at April’s COVID-19 impact webinar, a working group was formed and met on April 27th, 2020 at 2:00 pm CT to discuss potential measures related to COVID-19.

Members include: Jeff Engler, Mica Estrada, Lourdes Guerrero, Paul Hernandez, Stephanie House, Aviva Klein, Christine Pfund, Gretchen White, and Mercedes Rubio.

Update: The group is in the process of refining proposed questions and will share with the NRMN community for feedback.
