Geography allows you to develop skills that are helpful in other subject and careers, including critical thinking, using data and working as a team
Many with a degree in Geography often enter into careers in insurance, trading and law. Other careers include landscape architect, town planner, environmental consultant, conservation officer, tourism officer and many more. Services such as police, teaching, NHS and fire services also look upon Geography as a favourable option.
The broad nature of geography as a subject means that it offers many avenues to take your skills and knowledge to the next level and learn things that are applicable to adult life and directly aids in your personal development as a young person.
These skills and knowledge are invaluable as you begin to mature into young adults and make you more able to understand the complex nature of society today.
