Year 1

Welcome back from the half-term break! We hope you had a restful time. This week, our English lessons have been a whirlwind of creativity as we drew inspiration from fairy tales, crafting our own unique versions of Hansel and Gretel. The children have been incredibly imaginative, and we can't wait to share their stories with you!

In Maths, we've been exploring multiples of 2, 5, and 10, using these to count in groups. The week culminated in an exciting sharing activity, where the children showcased their newfound skills.

Thursday was a highlight with a fantastic drama workshop. It was wonderful to see the children express themselves, and we discovered many budding actors among us!

In Science, we've embarked on a journey through the seasons, discussing seasonal changes and appropriate clothing for each season. It's been a week full of learning and fun.
