Willington Prep - Celebrating 140 years - 1885-2025
We've had a great week in Year 4. In English, we explored subordinating conjunctions with the fun acronym ISAWAWOBUB helping us to improve our writing skills with subordinate clauses. In Maths, we delved into statistics, creating and interpreting various charts, including line and column charts.
Our Geography lesson focused on the powerful natural phenomenon of tsunamis, discussing their causes and the damage they can inflict. In History, we learned about rationing during World War II, giving us a glimpse into the past and how it affected families. In Science we have been learning about our teeth and how we keep them healthy for lots of years to come.
In RE, discussions surrounding different beliefs and faiths helped our understanding of diverse cultures. Whilst in Music, we enjoyed composing our own melodies while distinguishing between composition and improvisation.
