Year 1

What an exciting week it has been! We started with the children meeting their new teachers—they’re incredibly lucky to be heading into Year 2 with Mrs Dixon, Miss Wilkinson, and Mrs Vijay.

The excitement continued on Wednesday with our wonderful Celebration Day, where we recognised the amazing achievements of all our children. We were bursting with pride watching them sing beautifully about our Willington values.

Another highlight was our final Year 1 trip to Hobbledown! The children’s joy and laughter as they climbed the highest towers, zoomed down the fastest slides, and came face-to-face with a tarantula made it truly unforgettable. They’ve grown so much this year—it will be a very emotional goodbye.
