It has been another fantastic week in the Art Department, and I am thrilled to share the amazing progress and creativity our children have demonstrated.
Year 1 children have been creating clay leaves, inspired by a Monsterra plant and Year 3 have been learning how to add vibrant colours to their patterns, experimenting with watercolour paints. In Year 4, the children have been creating continuous line drawings, building their confidence while drawing and adding watercolour. Year 5 have taken on the challenge of working accurately from photo references. And lastly, Year 6 have been using patterns and watercolours to expand their knowledge and appreciation of African art.
As we continue to embrace creativity and artistic development, I would like to remind all parents to send their children in with an apron or an old shirt.
Warm regards,
Miss Beere
