Willington Prep - Celebrating 140 years - 1885-2025
It is so nice to have a bit of sunshine back, and we have been making lots of wonderful artwork this week. With reception using glitter, string and buttons to decorate their shells and year 1 completing their crazy houses and taking inspiration from Jackson Pollock, we have been busy! Year 5 have been painting with acrylics while year 6 have been learning about one point perspective.

Over the next few weeks, I will be sending your child home with any larger pieces of art that they have made this year, so do keep an eye out in their bags for this.
Year 6 have been learning to use one point perspective. James, Ian, Samuel.
Work in progress by Year 5, using typography to inspire their painting. Freddie, William, Charlie, Ethan, Yun, Alex, Matthew, Conrad, Oscar.
Year 4 have been inspired by Yelena James to create underwater coral reef scenes. Amelia, Sophie, Julian.
Year 1 have been creating abstract art inspired by Jackson Pollock. Ralph, Yuvaan, Zach.
Reception have been adding glitter, string and buttons to their watercolour paintings of shells.
