Friday again, and what a week it has been!
Mrs Wilkinson has reported that we are natural actors - she was really impressed with us as we explored status using proximity, facial expression, body language and gesture. In English, we have been learning how to use short sentences to build tension when describing finding a body (!) and also learnt about the passive voice and why it is used. In Science, we have been learning about drawing a bar charts on graph paper with the utmost precision. In Computing, we were working on our touch typing skills. In Latin with Ms.Henson, we finished revising what we have learnt ready to launch into new territory next week. Mr Wildman has been keeping us busy in the world of Maths with factors, factor pairs, prime numbers and composite numbers! In French, we have been talking about school objects, identifying them and using them in sentences and been learning about indefinite articles (un, une and des) in sentences and talking about masculine and feminine nouns. Finally, in History we were really excited to finally see each others presentations on our artefacts - Mrs Draper was so impressed that we all managed to identify exactly what our objects were! In Geography, we were continuing our sustainability topic, and this week were revising knowledge about natural resources and were categorising renewable and non-renewable resources we use to generate energy. Have a great weekend!
