As we enter week three, tearful morning hugs have given way to broad smiles as the children  happily wave goodbye to their  parents at the gate and greet their new friends at the Nursery. Miss Beere kindly invited the children to visit her in the art room, she had prepared a  beautiful two - week, two - part project for the children - they decorated a vase using crayons and on the next visit they  will decorate flowers using different art/ media and materials.

This week we each made a beautiful portrait of ourselves looking at our faces in the mirror and carefully drawing our special features using different coloured crayons, pens and pencils to produce an amazing and  unique self portrait to go on “The All about Me” display board with our personal handprints for signatures.

 Please take a look when dropping off ! We also decorated the first letter of our name using  a lot of shiny and glittery materials - great work nursery!  well done.

The children thoroughly enjoyed a Willington car race on Friday choosing their favourite racing car and they joined the  table top car race scene, everyone was a winner!
