This week was The Great Kindness Challenge! Students were challenged to go out of their way to demonstrate kindness to one another. We also discussed why we had Monday off (MLK Jr. Day) and how his story ties in with kindness.
Last but not least, a HUGE shoutout to Kean for representing our class in the school-wide Spelling Bee! He won! He will be onto the district-level Spelling Bee!

The three classes with the highest participation will have their prizes delivered by a special visitor! By reducing car trips, you can help preserve polar bears’ sea ice homes in the Arctic. Have your trip card scanned when you walk, bike, or scoot to school to participate! CLICK HERE for more information.
Career Day:
We are planning our Career Day in Spring 2026 with our 3rd and 7th grade students! Career exploration promotes self-awareness and allows students to learn about their abilities, interests, and strengths. We are looking for volunteers to share about their careers! Presenters would be expected to give a 20-25 minute presentation to two to three groups of students at our K-8 campus. If you or someone you know has an awesome career and would be interested in sharing about it with our students, please CLICK HERE to express interest and our counselors will reach out to you. Expressed interest does not commit you to speaking at Career Day – we are gathering interest first! Thank you all for your support!
