Our 8th grade artists are diving into the world of digital creativity. They will learn a bit about the history of stop motion animation and how GIFs became a popular form of visual storytelling. They will then get hands-on practice by creating their own short GIFs using a simple stop motion process on either Procreate or PhotoPea.
Upon returning from break middle school artists will be finishing up their collage artwork. If they finish they will make a tissue paper flower that will be added to a mural that promotes the great kindness challenge.
