We will define and discuss perseverance. 

We will research a famous figure who has demonstrated perseverance. 

Perseverance: Working through to the completion of a goal, despite challenges and roadblocks along the way. 

Motivation: The desire and will to finish a task. 

Can you think of some examples of people you know who have persevered?  In this lesson, we will learn about what perseverance is and how it can make a difference in your life. 

Start by watching the TED Talk below about what it means to have grit and persevere through tasks.  Then, complete assignment 2.10.
