Setting up and running The People's Pension with Xero

Xero makes it easier to manage workplace pensions.

Getting set up

We'll ask you:

  • confirm you’ve set up a pension scheme with The People’s Pension and you know your login credentials

  • go to Home and click Manage user access > Add a new user then invite our team.

We'll connect Xero and The People's Pension and will process and submit pension filings with each payrun.

Each month

You'll need to:

  • let us know if an employee wishes to opt in or opt out,

  • pay your pension contributions, ideally by Direct Debit.
