The Lor Dor or the Thai Reserved Officers is a requirement that all Thai male citizens must attend for a total of 3 years. This includes training in multiple aspects of the military service in Thailand. This includes group assemblage, marching, physical training, marksmanship and overall discipline. This experience has allowed me to grow as a person as I have learnt about the life of a soldier and the dedication that is put into serving one's country. This has also allowed me to become more disciplined and accepting to new environments as we have been put through and survived many harsh conditions as well as state of minds. As said this experience has also allowed me to train my body physically which is major positive for the experience. Even though I have gained a lot from this, it has probably been one of my toughest experiences since I am forced to leave my home as a somewhat soft person to take one challenges which are not only exhausting for the body but for the mind as well.
