Ayutthaya Service Trip (Dec. 2017)

The Ayutthaya service trip was a trip organized by fellow students which allowed a group of people to give back to the community by helping out at a local school. During this trip we were able to help clean, paint and build certain structures for the school's well being. In particular, I was tasked with the construction of these bamboo grids used for the vertical growing of plants. We spent a good amount of time in groups twisting and cutting each wire just to form one of these structures each. The experience allowed me to give back to the community and help a local organization while also being able to learn a new skill while doing so.
