On this page you will find information on:
We have been working on facilitating more intimate and meaningful gatherings at Web Summit.
Our recommendation system helps you find the right people based on your shared interests, industries and goals.
A ‘Meetup’ is a small gathering where attendees network based on common interests, community or industry.
Meetups give attendees the chance to meet new people and make new connections in informal settings during Web Summit – day and night.
We’ll make sure you’re invited to some that we think you’ll enjoy, based on your profile.
Meetups are 20 to 55-minute sessions taking place in multiple ‘meetup areas’ around the event venue.
You are welcome to join as many meetups as you’d like. You can discover the full list of meetups on the web and mobile app, and add to your calendar any you’re interested in. Simply show up at the location at the time of the meetup and make sure to say hello to other attendees!
If you are invited to a meetup or are recommended one in your app, you can add it to your calendar by responding to the invite.
This is based on the information you shared with our team, from your industry, your role, and interests.
Keep an eye on your app schedule to be aware of the latest updates on the meetup's time and location.
No, all the official meetups are created by Web Summit. However, if you have a specific meetup suggestion, you can reach out to our support team at info@websummit.com.
