PITCH is the startup competition at Web Summit, showcasing the world’s most promising early-stage startups in a live, onstage pitching battle.
The competition is open to all ALPHA and BETA startups.

Competition Format
The top 105 startups will pitch in front of our distinguished judging panel and hundreds of attendees in the group rounds, which will take place on our dedicated PITCH stages.
Following the group stages, 10 startups will advance to the semi-final on Centre Stage in a bid for one of three PITCH finalist spots.
Those three finalists will battle it out on Centre Stage for a chance to be crowned PITCH champion at Web Summit Lisbon 2026.
In addition to the brand awareness the PITCH Competition provides, the winner will receive a complimentary startup package for Web Summit Lisbon 2027.

How can I apply?
You can find the link to apply to this activation on the homepage of the Web Summit platform.
What you'll need to apply for the PITCH Competition:
A 1-minute self-recorded video pitch describing the problem or need your company solves, your product or service offering, and the benefits to customers. All videos must be in English, and the speaker should be the same one as in the video.
A pitch deck - suggested 10 slides
Written answers to two quick questions:
What problem does your business solve?
Provide metrics that show the traction of your product or service?
The shortlist of startups selected for the PITCH Competition will be announced on Wednesday, October 28. Please note that participation in these activations is not a guaranteed part of your ticket package.
